I literally tossed it out the window, reversed, and ran over it. They were trash. The only good thing about that band was the rest of the band. But most of their fans I knew became assholes. I don't know why people hate on weak cookie, I personally like them, and fred thirsty. Durst is thirsty in German. Semi-unrelated but i watched his latest movie, The Fanatic, and it's just so absurdly terrible. It was like having a glimpse of true insanity, i can't imagine how something like that gets created.
It takes the spin around just bad, to so bad it's amusing so many times and by the end of it i was just asking why every little thing in the movie had to be the way they were. I agree, they made some nice songs with a grimy atmosphere, and at times they were genuinely disturbing. I think all of the big nu-metal bands were talented in at least a couple areas.
Korn was unique and just accessible enough to get on the radio, Disturbed was a pretty well-rounded alternative metal group with catchy songs, Limp Bizkit had a silly kind of charm that's instantly recognizable, Slipknot had technical skills in a few areas, mainly on the drums, and I'm probably forgetting a big band or two.
While all of them had their own issues, they are mainly shat on because of elitists and usually young fanbases. There are much worse rock bands out there. Most of the people who shit on specific bands like that are usually ex-fans who want to rub their "newfound superiority in taste" in everyone's face. Limp Bizkit certainly was a product of its time, I don't think it has aged well at all and don't bother listening to it these days. I've not come across alot of hate for Limp in recent years, I thought most people had forgotten about them.
Fred Durst has always been a class A cock tho, that's not a new reason to dislike the band lol. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. Sign up for a new account in our community. After rejoining Limp Bizkit in , Borland founded Black Light Burns, with whom he has released three studio albums and a covers album. Limp Bizkit went on hiatus following the release of their album The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 Is Wes Borland a good guitarist?
Wes is a good guitarist that was in a pretty maligned band imo. His work wasnt mind blowing but added a level too a band that otherwise was a beat box for the wannabee rap rocker vocals from Fred. Is Limp Bizkit still making music? As dumb as this band was stories about Limp Bizkit are fascinating.
They show that bros can grow a brain, or at least a facsimile of a brain, and that there's life after a decade spent wearing JNCOs. Today, Limp Bizkit is still around. But they're older, maybe wiser, and definitely still doing it for the nookie.
How much is Limp Bizkit worth? We were being ourselves and creating a sound that incorporated all of our inspirations. That sound was a bit conglomerate of inspiration. There have been some well-documented feuds between the bands.
I think we can put all of that stuff from the past to one side and we can all laugh about it. I know I can. When you toured with Slipknot last year, you played Sabotage together.
